Awards

Kings & Convicts staff and friends will select a winner for the Production beer to be released in cans, and a winner for tap-room only release.

 

Expectations of winner

1) Production Brew
  • Planning - 1 evening review of recipe and timing Dec/Jan
  • Brew Day - full day 7am-6pm during the week. This will be scheduled late Jan, 
  • Cellaring - Transfer to the Brite Tank - 3-4hrs
  • Packaging - Work on the canning line for the run - 6hrs 
The timing for these will be scheduled by early Jan to allow ordering of ingrediants and planning, but the winner needs to be flexible in getting time off to do this.
 
2) Taproom Only Beer
  • Planning - review recipe and timing
  • Brew day - probably a weekend
 
In both cases we expect the winner to be involved in the brew and will be working on cleaning tanks.
 
We will also be looking for volunteers for the canning line.
